Anthony's Narrative Writing

On a Tuesday morning december 15 1957 there stayed a girl with her two enormous brothers at 101 line road the names were Francesca, Jake and Sam. One day the brothers told their young sister Francesca to stay home while they were going to there friends house. While they were gone the young sister was worried that they left her alone at home and wasn’t going to return. So that night there young sister sneaked out of the house and into the searching for her two older brothers.   

Later that night while she was searching, she saw a house covered with wood. She was tired so she decided to go and have a break. When she walked inside it looked flash. The young girl was amazed so she  decided that she was going to have a rest. Once her two brothers got home from there friends house, they called out her name but she was nowhere to be found.

Next Jake and Sam started to get worried so off they went looking for her. During their mission, Sam spotted a house with wood covered on it so he screamed out to Jake that he had spotted a house with wood on it so they quickly ran.

When she was finally found, everyone was in a great relieved that there sister was found. They hugged and kissed her and said we hope you will learn a lesson from this and it’ll never happen again.

Sailing at Kohimarama Beach

The day of  sailing had finally arrived. My class went together with Room 6. They got the chance to take part in sailing as well. I was very excited.  Once we arrived  a couple of yachts were lined up. Once Reuben had  finished describing how the yacht works, we got into pairs. Luckily my partner was  Christopher. We each grabbed  a yacht and dragged  to the shore .     

Then we prepared the yachts for the sea.  The ocean  seemed dangerous. I jumped into the boat and started sailing to the point. At first it  was scary but it slowly got better.  I slowed down to wait for the others because I was ahead of them. So I waited and waited until Seuati catched up so then I started to sail again.

        

Then when I got back to the shore, Christopher went. I saw him struggling so I encouraged  him.  My legs were cold so I sat down and covered it  with sand until chris came back. I saw chris ahead of them when they returned back. It was exciting because when chris came back we were allowed to go together .

Finally Reben said we are done. Then we got changed and settled down and Reben gave us a certificate.  

Touch Reflection - Anthony

Today was our third session of touch. Everyone was looking forward for a game of touch. Unfortunately we practised more drills for next week. We need work on moving back and not passing properly.   I am excited for the next Touch Session.

Today at our second touch session , we were taught  how to draw and pass the ball. We learned how to share the ball with   others  in our team.  For next time we need to work on moving around more. I can’t wait for the next session.

Learn: I can name the 3 group of sacraments.

WALT : What I need to learn is to name three groups of sacraments.

Initiation is the first group of the sacraments. In the group Initiation there are three sacraments under this group and they are Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist.

Healing  is  the  second group, Their are 2 sacraments under The group Healing, which are Anointing and Reconciliation.

Commitment is the last group of the sacraments. There are two sacraments under this group, which are marriage and Holy Orders.

Anthony's Anzac Writing

This term we have been painting about Anzac to remember those people,who had died in the WW1 and the WW2. We had to create a silhouette of the soldiers. At the background you can see the sunset come down and the earth.I really enjoy painting a silhouette based on Anzac day.I also liked I how mixed some colours to go for my sunset scene.
