Ewan's Best Piece Of Writing!

Ewan's best piece of writing, he did this in under 45 minutes. He feels successful in what he did.
---------
William wallace

William wallace was a man who was born in 1270 Elderslie,Scotland and died on the 23rd of August 1305 in London,England.

He was a man that fought for the freedom of scotland that was overruled by England.William wallace was a person that made scottish history that is still remembered today, in scotland there is monuments and attraction that honour is bravery, also there is a movie (braveheart) that is a true romance movie with all the action you could ever. The reason he strived forward and pushed the english back to their country is that the love of his life was murdered by an English force, she was tied to a pole and then slitted on the neck with a small sword because some english troops had tried to kiss her and sexually harassed her, so she bit one of the troops and they chased her.

The battle of Killiecrankie
William wallace fought many battles but this battle is different because it was one of the brutal but the most faithful casualty of over 2,000.

Pio's Best Writing

Image result for tennis
Today at the count we had tennis for kiwisport with coach Campbell.
At the count coach campbell had a new machine for us to catch with one hand and two hands. It was really hard because the balls were flying at me so fast I couldn’t even see it flying at me.

Later on it was the girls turn to go onto the balls machine. I started to whine because The ball machine was cool.

Mumma.jpg
Mothers hold their child's hands for a little while, but their hearts forever. Kids are very special and thankful to have their mums in their life, some don’t.

My mum is the most important person in my life and my dad. My mum was the one who went through everything to give me life. My mum’s arms were always open when I needed her, she was always my friend who understands me, her strength and love helped and guided me.

She taught me what is right from wrong and also about the dangerous things in life. She’ll always have my back no matter what goes on, she’ll always take my side even if I'm wrong to show me comfort and forgiveness. Although I have relatives that love me also but the love my mother has for me is unconditional and I feel special about that.

I can never repay my mother as she would pick the sun and stars for me if she could, just to make I and my siblings feel special. My siblings and I are very blessed to have a mother who is beautiful inside and out, very supportive but most importantly the most loving and caring mother I could have ever asked for.

I love my mum endlessly. NO-ONE will ever replace you being my mother.

Love you mum xo

Aaliyah's Best Writing (Term 2,2017)

Enjoyment is provided by Tennis

Learning Intention:

  • I will learn to work on paragraphs, not only at school but in my spare time at home.

Smiles and Laughs, all thanks to our Coach Campbell. Everyone in Spx Nu’u loves playing tennis, including Mrs Tui. Today’s lesson was enjoyable, everyone dodging balls like bullets, or catching them like arrows. The court was like World War 3, balls like bullets flying everywhere, either injuring someone or missing them by a centimetre.

“Harry” was the most frightening to verse. No, it is not a person it’s actually a Tennis ball machine. Even though it’s a machine, when it hits you, it’s like being shot. It was my turn. I was nervous, I waited for it’s fire ball of fury, it came at me like the speed of lightning. Bang! It hit my chest at full speed, “Owwww!” I never thought I would make back alive, but I survived.

Though my chest throbbed, I walked to the next station. Tennis rackets were  scattered all over the court, each one was picked like flowers and held like badges. Tennis rackets flew in the air, each one coming down “Bang!” Tennis balls flew across the court and down, like birds being hit by a stone.

My Best Writing 2015 - Anthony

Sailing at Kohimarama Beach
The day of  sailing had finally arrived. My class went together with Room 6. They got the chance to take part in sailing as well. I was very excited.  Once we arrived  a couple of yachts were lined up. Once Reuben had  finished describing how the yacht works, we got into pairs. Luckily my partner was  Christopher. We each grabbed  a yacht and dragged  to the shore .

Then we prepared the yachts for the sea.  The ocean  seemed dangerous. I jumped into the boat and started sailing to the point. At first it  was scary but it slowly got better.  I slowed down to wait for the others because I was ahead of them. So I waited and waited until Seuati catched up so then I started to sail again.

Then when I got back to the shore, Christopher went. I saw him struggling so I encouraged  him.  My legs were cold so I sat down and covered it  with sand until chris came back. I saw chris ahead of them when they returned back. It was exciting because when chris came back we were allowed to go together .

Finally Reben said we are done. Then we got changed and settled down and Reben gave us a certificate.

My Best piece of writing 2015 - Folauhola

On Thursday morning my class had the opportunity to participate in sailing. We were divided into 2 groups. The first group left from school at 9:00am. The second group had to met us at Kohimarama Beach at 12pm. Sailing was at Kohimarama, near the yacht club.

Most of my class had never been sailing before. Our transport was the Sacred Heart Van.  There were 12 students who were in group 1. We finally made it to the yacht club. I couldn't wait any longer, so I grabbed my gear and jumped off the van. We met our instructor Reuben.

6 sailing boats had caught my eye. Our first task was to  set up the yacht.  We were paired up and each one of us had to chose a yacht. Before we could start, we had to put on our safety gear, to keep us safe. We dragged our sailing boat down the path walk and into the beach. The girls were up first to sail.

We had to sail to the tilly that was anchored to the sea floor, that area was the deepest. After coming last, I was enjoying. My partner and I took turn and it was turning out great, until we went together. When we reached to the deep side, my side was facing downwards to the water and water was coming into our boat. We were both scared and nervous that our boat would flip over.

It’s was too windy and we couldn't control our boat so we let it go and all of sudden we were in the sea. The sea was deep and I was nervous because usually when I’m at the beach my feets are always on the ground. Luckily Reuben came with his boat and told us how to flip over the boat.

It was time to say goodbye. I wasn't ready to stop, I wanted more. By the time we started  packing our gear, we met the second group who made it to the yacht club just in time.
