Happy

During term 2, some pupils from Room 7 had the opportunity to have a music mentor to help them with writing and composing music.   Ofa and her group compose this song called HAPPY.   Lavina and Angelica used the song to make a music video.  Room 7 submits this movie to the Manakailani Film Festival.

In Room 7, we work in a group to create a report on our learning.  Each week we reflect and share what we learn.  Angelica's group were doing a newspaper report.   It was amazing how we share our learning.  It keeps us focus during the week.  We have to know what we are learning and how we know that we have learnt something.

Welcome to Term 2 of 2012.

It is going to be an exciting learning term.  Mrs Tui will be assessing everyone on reading and maths.  

Sport - The girls will have their Tuesday nights netball competition.  We will have basketball for our Kiwi Sport, starting in week 3.  To add on to this, we will have orienteering in week 6.   

Everyone is looking forward for this term.
