Why Animals Shouldn't be in Zoos..........
In inquiry, SPX Nu'u has been focusing on creatures in the Zoo.
We were supposed to go to the actual zoo but due to the weather the whole schedule cancelled,
Instead of going to the Zoo we wrote an explanation writing on should or shouldn't animals be in zoos and why......... Here is an illustration of Lusia's writing.....

Hey Lusia , Im LJ from Tamaki Primary . I’ve just read your explanation on why animals shouldn’t be kept in zoo’s . You have some good reasons and I like how you have explained them . Your reasons have a lot of meaning on why they should not be put in zoo’s and I agree with you too . Because you said it yourself , They are separated from their family members and I think that animals aren’t happy with what they live with in the zoo and need better living conditions so that they can feel safer . Being forced into cages is probably something that they don’t want to do because they need space to do what they like and they do not have what they once had back at their homeland .And I think that they deserve some respect , peace and privacy too . I also think that animals need more space to move around . Overall , You have a great explanation writing on why animals shouldn’t be kept in zoo’s. Keep up the good work.

I really like the cause of this work and the idea's had very strong meanings and were very persuasive. Maybe next time you could make the layout more even with a closer balance of text and pictures. I also agree animals shouldn't be kept in cages/zoos as it is not natural for them. In conclusion this is a great piece of writing and very persuasive.
Hey Im Andre from Hornby High School. I agree with L.J's comment and your writing animal's SHOULD NOT be keeped in the Zoo. Animals that are endangerd maybe but not animals that have like 1 million family members dont need to b in the Zoo, and it would be safe to keep out the animals from other contrys because we dont want tigers to be every where in New Zealand.over all let the animals live a life out side the Zoos.

Hi Lusia, I am Sharlisa from Hornby High School. I really like your blog post about why animals should not be kept in a zoo. You have lots of good reasons and i think they shouldn't be kept in zoos too. I think that they hate the zoo because every time I go there they look sad and unhappy. They need to live with their families and be in a free place. But I also think they should be somewhere were people can see if they are sick, hurt and other stuff like that. But they still shouldn't be in zoos. Maybe they should check up on animals in the wild every month maybe. You made a great writing about animals not being happy in zoos. Keep up the good writing work.
